CARLA A. GOODWIN, PHD.

Dr. Goodwin is a clinical counselor, a forensic psychologist, and one of the founding members of the Massachusetts Guardian ad Litem Association. She has conducted over six hundred custody, sexual abuse, competency and mental status evaluations.

Provided expert testimony before a U.S. Congressional Joint Committee on Domestic Abuse

Provided testimony to the State of Connecticut Probate Court system on establishing mediation practices

Appointed by a Legislative Commission of the State of Massachusetts to develop legistlative guildelines for child custody laws

Provides services, training, expert witness testimony and evaluations as well as consultation services to attorneys and Courts throughout eight counties in Massachusetts

Public Service:

Appointed by last four Governors as Commissioner in the role as Chairman for the Disabled Persons Protection Commission, State of Massachusetts

Served as Chairman of the Board of Selectman for six years in her community

Served as Chairman of the School Committee for five years in her community

Served as President of the Massachusetts Selectamn Association

Served as Member of the Board of Trustees for the local hospital within her community for twelve years
